Wyman Memorial UC

You are invited to a Pizza luncheon with salad, dessert, tea and coffee on Sunday October 22 following the Worship Service as a ‘thank you’ for your support of your church.

This is a free luncheon sponsored by the Stewardship & Finance Committee. We do hope to see you there!

Join us for worship on Sunday!

Our services are welcoming, relatively informal, and relevant in our changing world.

Our choir supports the congregation in our singing, and brings two anthems to each worship service.

While we do not have a 'Sunday School', we do have an area at the back of the church for children's activities.  Each Sunday there is a conversation time which is often for the children.

After worship we would welcome you, if you have a few extra minutes, to our hall for coffee, tea, juice and some goodies.

Welcome all!

On this Sunday, new members will be welcomed by transfer and by profession of faith.  If interested in 'officially' joining the congregation, contact the office:  450-458-4912

Mark your calendars for the upcoming Spring Fling 2017 to be held on Saturday, June 3 at Hudson’s Wyman United Church (513 Main Rd., Hudson QC) from 9 am to 1 pm.

Featuring the Wyman plant sale with local growers, Le Nichoir and their bird-friendly shrub give-a-way, garden creations from 2 Barn Owls’ Nancy Farnum and Roxane Woods of The Far Woods, the Hudson Garden Club root sale, the Hudson Food Collective, cut flowers from En Fleur, the Greenwood Centre for Living History and their Spring Flower Photography Competition, and the Hudson Fine Crafters.

Sunday, March 26, 2017 - 10:30

Each year during the Lenten season, the weeks before Easter, we have a speaker. Normally this speaker is someone who is from some kind of outreach project - usually church related, sometimes not - in Montreal, or even another country. We have had speakers from a Women's Shelter, from St. Columba House, from the Concordia Interfaith Chaplaincy, from Kanesatake United Church and so on.

This year, as we consider our context and the events around us, we have invited a speaker from the Muslim community.  Shaheen Junaid, National Board member and Montreal Chapter Secretary of the Canadian Council of Moslem Women will be our guest speaker.

You are all invited to a special experience with activities, music, reflection and supper, an experience not like Sunday morning nor your traditional Bible Study.   This gathering is for all ages -  families and singles - so come along on Saturday April 1 at 4.30 p.m.   We will be happy to see you!

The theme this month will be "Fools for Christ".

The supper meal is provided.  There is no charge, though a donation basket is out for those who wish to make a contribution.
