You are all invited to a special experience with activities, music, reflection and supper, an experience not like Sunday morning nor your traditional Bible Study. This gathering is for all ages - families and singles - so come along on Saturday April 1 at 4.30 p.m. We will be happy to see you!
The theme this month will be "Fools for Christ".
The supper meal is provided. There is no charge, though a donation basket is out for those who wish to make a contribution.
The next gathering of the Wyman Breakfast Group takes place in Wyman Hall (basement) on Saturday, April 8, starting with a continental breakfast at 9:00 AM.
This month’s speaker is Dolores Meade. In 2007, she, along with Gisela Marler, founded the Hudson Branch of Grannies for Africa, a group that is still going strong, with original members continuing to be involved and new members joining in.
The next Wyman Breakfast will take place on Saturday, February 11 at 9:00AM, starting with a continental breakfast.
Our guest speaker will be Cote. St Charles resident, Ralph Simpson. He will be talking about that part of Cote St. Charles people call “Up Cote”, that little slice of fields and forest which was once home to a determined group of hard-working pioneers and is now fading too quickly into history. Ralph and his forefathers were part of that group and Ralph has made it his mission to keep their story alive and vibrant.
The first Wyman’s Breakfast of the New Year takes place at Wyman Memorial United Church on JANUARY 14, 2017 at 9:00 am. Our speaker will be Jean Wood: she will be talking about the Halifax Explosion of December 6, 1917, a horrific disaster whose impact resulted in upwards of 2000 dead and another 9000 injured.
