Christmas Eve Services

Submitted by webtech on Tue, 12/21/2021 - 16:51

There is lots being cancelled - but Christmas cannot be cancelled.  The celebration of the birth of the Christ-Child, the celebration of Emmanuel, God-with-us, will continue no matter what doors are closed and what contacts are limited.

This year we have:

  • 7:00 p.m. Early 'family' service - a celebration designed for all ages with story, song and word.
  • 11:00 p.m. Celebration of Holy Communion on this Holy night

Both services will be on-line only at our usual Zoom location.  (CLICK HERE to get our Zoom location)

(click the title or link to the right for more info)

We have room for 100 connections on our Zoom account - invite your friends, neighbours and relatives to either or both services.

Originally our early service was to have an in-person component.  This was changed to on-line only because of the rising numbers, especially in Québec, and also in solidarity with those whose incomes are threatened by closures and in solidarity with our health workers.  We would also like to communicate clearly by our actions that we support the decisions to reduce contacts.

We hope that you will have a safe celebration, and that you, too, will be able to reduce contacts and yet have enough... enough to be able to feel a measure of joy and/or hope in this difficult context.
